Description
The Project Management Workshop is a 3-day seminar is designed for individuals with little or no prior knowledge of project management but who are given tasks to study, propose, and implement a project.
This seminar will teach them how to create a plan, budget, schedule, monitor progress, and manage risks. The workshop will show them how to spearhead every stage of a project, from developing goals and objectives to managing project teams. They will learn the essential steps in defining goals, setting up project plans, assigning and scheduling work, monitoring progress, and exercising control to achieve the desired project results. Moreover, they will learn how to define the limits of their project scope, determine its full costs and value, and duration to help them in proposing and presenting their projects.
At the end of the workshop, participants should be able to:
- Differentiate between a project and a management task
- Develop a project charter;
- Determine project requirements;
- Develop a project organizational structure and leadership;
- Develop a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and budget.
