The Effective Business Writing course is an introduction to effective communication through writing. Formal communication takes the form of business letters, memos, manuals, work books, and reports at different levels in the organization. Internal and external transactions may also require formal communication.

At the end of the workship, participants are expected to know how to:

  • distinguish the various types of communication, platforms, messaging, and best practices
  • identify the key elements and principles of effective business writing
  • identify the competencies required for communicating the desired message
